Bikes we have built, customised or both.
Plattsy's 1x9 Salsa - May 2008
What a fun build this was. Salsa ala carte frame, fox forks, hand built wheel set, sram x9 rear derailleur, chris king head set, sram x9 shifter, truvativ stylo ss crankset, juicy 7's. One of my favorite build ups in along while and what a quality ride. Steel is real!
Naresh's Intense uzzi vpx - May 2008
Bare frame and all parts supplied by Naresh, just a simple build up. Fox shock, rock shock totem's, dice hubs, truvativ cranks, juicy 7's, thomson stem, monkey bars. I had to fabricate a tool to remove the old head set (design fault), apart from that is was smooth sailing resulting in a smooth solid weapon!
Gary's Fixie - April 2008
This bike has a bit of history with me. I originally built this up as a geared bike with a custom paint job for Craig. After a long search by Gary this Italian beauty was snapped up for a fixie project. Custom paint, velocity deep v's built onto surly track hubs, sugino bb and cranks. The black and yellow theme really makes this bike standout in the crowd.
Simon's single speed commuter - June 2008
This one is a working progress. Started life as a Hillman frame believed to be from the 70's. Shifter boss's, derailleur hanger, cable guides removed. All lugs to be hand polished, and then frame painted. More details and pictures soon....
Sid's 1 x 9 Yeti - July 2008
Sid's original chromoly yeti is one of a kind. In the 12 years as a bike mechanic I have never seen one and will most likely never see another. The frame was in great almost new condition, but too good to be built up as a trail thrasher. Sid decided to build it up as commuter using some older part and some new. Truvativ cranks, truvativ bb, crank brothe pedals, XTR brakes, LX rear derailleur.
